Integration Support
Google Calendar Integration
Welkin allows users to sync their Welkin Calendar to their Google Calendar. This is a uni-directional integration where the Care Team assigned to Encounters and Events will now display on Google Calendar. To enable this configuration, the following steps are completed by the customer and Welkin teams*:
Deliverable/Step | Responsible party (Customer/Welkin) |
Contracting | Both |
Enable Integration | Welkin |
Enable Google Calendar Sync | Customer |
Testing | Both |
Step 1: Contracting
Complete contracting process with Welkin Sales or CSM team
Step 2: Enable Integration
Welkin CSM and integration team will take steps internally to enable the integration
Step 3: Enable Google Calendar Sync
Each user will need to log into Care portal and take the following steps:
- Select Calendar
- Select Calendar Settings (Gear Icon)
- Select Sync with Google Calendar tab
- Click the Google Calendar icon in the center of the page
- You will be presented with a pop up window to select which Google Calendar you would like to sync
- Next it will ask you to continue and accept Privacy Policies and allow to sync to Welkin’s CalendarTo confirm the sync has been successful you will see Success in Welkin’s Calendar Setting page
- After the sync has been completed any new Encounter or Events will populate in your Google Calendar
- Note: Only the Encounter/Event name and patient’s initials will display in Google Calendar
Step 4: Testing
Coordinate testing with your Integration or CSM Manager at Welkin to ensure your workflows are working as desired.
