Announcements
Announcements allow for the display of important information to your teams in the different Welkin environments. Announcements can be published for you by the Welkin team when you want to inform your users of upcoming maintenance, changes, holidays, or many other things.
There are two types of announcements:
- Info: Indicated by a green box at the top of system pages
- Warning: Indicated by a red box at the top of system pages
Either type can be enabled in whatever circumstances are needed, but only one Announcement of any type can be active at a time.
To enable an Announcement, please submit a work request ticket to the Welkin team with the following information:
- Subject: Text to preface the announcement
- Organization name: Your Organization’s name in Welkin
- Application Types: Where you want this to appear (Care/Designer/Admin)
- Activation Date: Date/Time you want the Announcement to go live
- Expiration Date: Date/Time you want the Announcement to terminate
- Type: Info (green) or Warning (red)
- Message: Body of the Announcement to appear after the text in “Subject”
In the example below, the Announcement was built with a Subject of “Announcement” and a Body of “Welkin Offices will be closed on Monday Nov. 11th, 2024 to celebrate Veteran’s Day.” This was created as “Info”.
