At Welkin Health, we believe a company is only as amazing as its people. We’ve dedicated ourselves to improving the lives of care teams and want to show off the people who work tirelessly behind the scenes to make that happen. We’ll be doing a Q&A with one of our extraordinary team members to show off the people behind the product.
Our very own Julian Haddad joined us this year as our Senior UX Designer. His extensive knowledge of UX and design is being used to update our product, and these changes will be sure to make an incredibly positive impact for Welkin users this year. So, let’s get to know Julian a little bit more, shall we?
Where are you from?
Miami, FL
What is your favorite Welkin value and why?
Curiosity. It’s such a huge part of my personality — I can’t imagine living life without asking questions. If you’re not asking questions, you’re not learning, and if you’re not constantly learning, what’s the point?
What do you love about working for Welkin and why?
I love that I can be myself and nobody is judging me for it!
Who is your favorite Welkin dog and why?
Eddie, hands down. His personality reminds me so much of my dog Apollo, so I feel a lot of joy when he’s around.
What is your favorite Welkin snack?
Honestly, it’s not really an official Welkin snack, but that “Bitchin’ Sauce” in the fridge is so good. That sauce can pretty much go on any of the actual snacks and make them so much better. Thanks for the recommendation, team.
What do you like to do when you’re not at work?
When I’m not at work I’m listening to a ton of music, podcasts, and audiobooks while going on an epic adventure of some sort.
If you weren’t in your current role, what would you be doing?
Stand-up comedy? Directing a film? I’d be doing something that makes people laugh or think. Or both.
If you had a prop in your photo, please tell us a bit more about it and why it’s meaningful for you.
I think it’s important to find time to play. It’s why I felt compelled to play with some of the action figures in one of the meeting rooms. Nurturing that innate childhood sense of wonder helps me stay inspired so I can create.
