Integration Methods
API
Data saved in Welkin is available to customers via open APIs. These open APIs are built with security at the forefront and allow you to save data in Welkin and extract it at your convenience. You can grant security policies and fine-grained permissions for the API client as if it was a user account.
Webhooks
Webhooks alert external systems when something has been modified. Define Webhook notifications, and upon receipt you can securely fetch the updated information using our APIs. You can create automations to be notified in real-time when new data is available for your consumption, or for retrieval to external systems.
Exports
Two types of standard exports allow you to retrieve your data out of Welkin. Exports from CSV files are available for individual users to download. API exports are JSON formatted to retrieve information from Welkin, and are typically used for an integration with analytics or storage systems.
Integrate Forms
Welkin can directly integrate with forms or data fields on your website or app. When information is entered into a form, Welkin’s APIs are invoked and business logic enables patient creation in Welkin.
